I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:16-18
What a privilege it is that Christ dwells in our hearts and lives! When we experience His infinite love for us, our lives are truly changed. We desire to serve and follow Him. We commit to His mission. We are transformed.
In ECO, one of the measures of a flourishing church is one that expects disciple making. Yet, so many of us are struggling with our own discipleship, let alone encouraging others along the journey. We are still navigating changes brought on by the pandemic. We are tired from enduring countless hardships in our own lives, the lives of others, and in our country. Yet here in Ephesians, Paul reminds us that God has strengthened us with His power through His Spirit as he dwells in us and we dwell in Him.
